Client Care Assistant

Due to our continued growth we are looking for a Client Care Assistant to join our team!

Based at our beautiful practice in Eastry we are a team that uphold the values of kindness, integrity and community, and empower each other to do our very best. We are passionate about what we do and are proud to provide exceptional service to every pet and owner in our care and are looking for someone who shares our passion.

We are looking for a driven and ambitious candidate who will be involved in all aspects of reception and customer care. The candidate will work alongside and complement our existing dynamic team.

Key points about you:

  • Proven experience working within a modern reception or client facing environment, managing bookings and payments.
  • Great personal and communication skills.
  • Warm and welcoming to clients with a friendly approach, whilst being sensitive to the needs of clients and their pets.
  • Want to have input in process improvement and possess a drive for self development.
  • Possess a ‘can do attitude’ and are able to foster such an attitude in others.
  • Interest in animals and pet wellbeing.
  • Have a confident, positive, professional attitude and remain calm under pressure.
  • Able to prioritise and plan your time and tasks depending on level of importance.
  • Can work well with other members of the team to ensure we maintain a high level of client service.
  • Are computer literate, experience of practice management systems and google workspace is a bonus but not essential.

Duties include a variety of client care and administrative tasks including;

  • Meeting and greeting clients and patients
  • Call handling
  • Helping with client queries via the phone and social messaging platforms
  • Following protocols to ensure a consistently high client experience
  • Cleaning and stock control
  • Processing payments

We are a passionately independent practice, and by working alongside our team we have an inherent understanding of everyone's needs and can respond in a bespoke way. We believe in taking care of our team, through consistent communication, trust and honesty.

Hours: Must be able to cover a range of shifts in our opening times and a share of the Saturday rota. This is a full time role, however part time would also be considered for the right candidate(s).

Salary: Is dependent on skills and experience. We also provide a pension, annual leave entitlement, staff discounts and wellness program. We are also committed to team training and development.
