It was an exciting day yesterday at Beacon View Vets when the machines pictured below arrived. They may not look like much, but they are part of our investment into a new in-house laboratory.
This new system means we can run a number of blood profiles with almost instant results. Meaning that we can report and act on the results much faster than using an external laboratory. Blood tests are not only useful when your pets are ill, but can help us detect and prevent disease earlier.
