Antonia

Originally from Transylvania in Romania, Antonia studied at USAMV in Cluj-Napoca. She grew up spending her summer breaks on her grandparents’ small farm, where she developed a strong connection with animals and a desire to care for them — a passion that naturally led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Antonia enjoys all aspects of being a veterinary surgeon, particularly the variety and challenges that each day brings. Her main area of clinical interest is ophthalmology, and she holds an Advanced Certificate in this field. She is passionate about continuing her development in veterinary eye care and is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate treatment for her patients.

We’re thrilled to welcome Antonia to the Beacon View team. With her warm, gentle manner and growing expertise in ophthalmology, she is a fantastic addition to our practice. Clients often appreciate her calm, empathetic approach and the care she takes to ensure their pets feel safe and understood.

Antonia now lives in Margate and, although she doesn’t currently have pets of her own, she grew up surrounded by dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys a wide range of hobbies, including cycling, swimming, skiing, tennis, ping-pong, basketball, cooking, travelling, and learning to play the piano!
