Claire

Veterinary Surgeon

If you’ve ever met Claire, you’ll know about her contagious passion for veterinary medicine. Claire has wanted to become a vet from the day she understood what it means to have a ‘job’, and since then has immersed herself in the science of pet health. She is a lifelong devotee of animal care, and sees her work as a true vocation.

Claire has always lived near Sandwich, apart from her time at Cambridge University, where she graduated with degrees in both veterinary medicine and zoology. Driven to provide veterinary service where outstanding customer care and clinical excellence are the focus, she pursues her veterinary work with a clear ethos and determination.

Claire has developed an extensive skill set including soft tissue surgery, complex dentistry and chemotherapy during her time in clinical practice. No two days are the same in veterinary practice, and Claire loves the variety that the job brings. Meeting clients and their pets is a delight and Claire is proud to hear that many clients regard her as a trusted friend. Claire is currently enrolled in the RCVS Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice and is our ISFM cat advocate.

Away from work Claire lives in a farm cottage with her partner Josh, and owns Ron the cat and Pingu the horse. When not playing with Ron or enjoying the local bridle paths with Pingu, she can be found hurtling down a mountain on a bike or skis.
