Hannah joined Beacon View in March 2026, bringing with her a strong scientific background and a genuine passion for patient care.
Before training as a veterinary nurse, Hannah worked in a microbiology laboratory where she developed a keen interest in infection control, laboratory processes and the science behind patient care. Although she loved the technical side of the role, she always knew she wanted to work with animals. Veterinary nursing offered the perfect opportunity to combine both.
She went on to train at the Royal Veterinary College, having previously worked as a Patient Care Assistant in a small animal practice. This hands on experience confirmed her desire to pursue nursing and shaped her calm, practical approach to clinical work.
Hannah particularly enjoys inpatient care and takes pride in making hospital stays as fear free and comfortable as possible. She also has a strong interest in surgical nursing, from carefully preparing patients for procedures to assisting throughout surgery. Being part of a collaborative team that shares the same high standards of patient care is something she values greatly. As Hannah says, “I enjoy being part of a team where everyone shares the same values when it comes to patient care.”
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys baking, especially experimenting with different sourdough recipes. She loves spending time outdoors walking and hiking in the countryside, and when she can, she enjoys hacking and playing polo. Growing up surrounded by cows on a farm, animals have always been part of her daily life, even if she does not yet have pets of her own.
