Veterinary Surgeon
Harrison lives in Margate and brings a thoughtful, inquisitive approach to his work, combining a love of problem solving with a genuine passion for animal care.
He studied at the University of Surrey and was drawn to veterinary medicine through a natural blend of interests, particularly surgery, wildlife, and the challenge of working through complex clinical cases. For Harrison, being a veterinary surgeon offers the perfect balance of hands on care and critical thinking.
Harrison has a particular interest in client communication and education. He finds it especially rewarding to support owners through what can often feel like overwhelming situations, helping them move from uncertainty to understanding and confidence. As he puts it, “One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping owners feel informed and reassured, so we can achieve the best possible outcome for their animals together.”
Alongside this, he has a strong interest in wildlife medicine, with a particular fascination for sea turtles, something that continues to shape both his learning and his travel.
At home, Harrison is kept on his toes by Betsy, his miniature schnauzer, who he describes as “very old and wonderfully grumpy.”
Outside of work, Harrison enjoys staying active through paddle tennis and golf, and has a love for travel, often planning trips around opportunities to encounter wildlife or explore more remote environments. He also has a keen interest in art and has built a collection with a close friend, occasionally exhibiting pieces in local restaurants and bars.
