Registered Veterinary Nurse
Rachel has always known she wanted to work with animals. When exploring career options at school, she discovered the role of the Registered Veterinary Nurse and instantly knew it was the perfect fit.
She completed her veterinary nursing degree at Harper Adams University and qualified as an RVN in 2023. Since then, Rachel has gained experience in both busy referral hospitals and general practice, where she developed particular skills in anaesthesia, CT and imaging, and exotic patient care. Rachel is currently studying towards a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care to build on her growing expertise.
Rachel loves building lasting relationships with pets and their owners, supporting them through every stage of their journey, and taking pride in nursing patients back to health.
Outside of work, she enjoys getting creative with different crafts, going to concerts, and relaxing with a good film. At home, she shares her life with her bunny Albert and three guinea pigs, Cheese, Pickle and Chutney!
Rachel’s commitment to her profession was recognised when she presented her university research project at BVNA Congress, an achievement that reflects her enthusiasm for learning and advancing veterinary nursing care.
