Our local Deal and Sandwich pet rescue centres are going through a tough time at the moment as they aren’t able to fundraise through events.
We wanted to help them out and had the idea of hosting a virtual charity quiz night live on Facebook. Claire our vet was the quiz master for 10 rounds of five animal themed questions.
The response to the quiz was overwhelming, along with pet owners local to Deal and Sandwich we had a few quizzers tuning in from as far away as Middlesborough.
We had over 250 comments during the live steam which replaced the normal face to face interaction of a live quiz. Two hedgehogs even found themselves a new home via the comments section.
The winner of the quiz was Heeva Moore with a score of 41/50.
The current total stands at £333 and this will be split between our four charities.
