Claire Smith, Vet

As the nation has moved into what will hopefully be the first and last lock down of the year, we would like to provided you with the reassurance that we are here for you and your pets.

The BVA and RCVS have released their latest advice and guidance, as an essential service Beacon View Vets will remain open during lockdown 3.0.

We will be providing further updates if guidance changes, but we are open and as always operating in a COVID secure system. If you are isolating and need extra support please don’t hesitate to contact us.

On arrival to the practice we ask you to wait outside in your car and call us on 01304 272131 to let the team know that you have arrived. Our reasons for this are not only for the health and safety of you and our team but also the Test & Trace system which has resulted in other practices having to completely close for a period of time where the team have come into contact with a client who later tested positive.

This risk can be minimised by ensuring we do not converse within 1m of each other or spend more than 15 minutes with you at a distance of 2 metres. We are able to achieve this safely by conducting conversations and where possible, taking payments outside of the practice.

Have a question?

If you have a question or need some advice (or just fancy a chat) we are always happy to talk. We love to write to please let us know what you would like to see next on our blog!
