Veterinary Surgeon PgCertDent(WBIS)
If you’d ever met Claire, you’d quickly notice her contagious passion for veterinary medicine. Claire has wanted to become a vet from the moment she understood what having a “job” meant, and ever since has immersed herself in the science and practice of animal health. She sees veterinary work as a true vocation, combining clinical excellence with genuine care for both pets and the people who love them.
Claire has always lived near Sandwich, aside from her time at Cambridge University, where she graduated with degrees in veterinary medicine and zoology. She is driven by a clear ethos, to provide veterinary care where thoughtful communication, outstanding client experience, and high clinical standards sit at the heart of everything she does.
During her time in practice, Claire has developed an extensive skill set, with particular interests in soft tissue surgery, complex dentistry, and chemotherapy. She holds a postgraduate certificate in veterinary dentistry, allowing her to provide a high standard of dental assessment and treatment, from routine procedures through to more advanced and complex cases. Claire enjoys the variety that first opinion practice brings, no two days are ever the same, and she takes great pride in building long term relationships with clients, many of whom describe her as a trusted friend.
Outside of work, Claire lives in a farm cottage with her partner Josh, alongside Ron the cat and Pingu the horse. When she is not spending time with Ron or exploring the local bridle paths with Pingu, she can usually be found hurtling down a mountain on a bike or a pair of skis.
