Gemma

Gemma wanted to pursue a career as a veterinary nurse from a young age and pursued her dream after finishing school. She qualified in 2005 and has a wealth of experience after being in practice an amazing 21 years.

Gemma has a particular interest in radiography and surgical nursing, but also enjoys consulting with owners and supporting them with diabetic cases and nutrition advice.

“I have the same passion for the animals today as I did the day I started and I can’t ever imagine that changing. I love what I do, and hope that I make a difference to the animals and owners in my care.”

At home Gemma looks after Woody her 11 year old border terrier, and two crazy bunnies named Simba and Pluto. Along with her 2 young daughters they all keep her very busy but in her spare time Gemma is also a talented baker!
